On Sunday evening (Jan 27th 2019), Oatein founders John-Paul Gardner and Andy Dixon stepped into the Dragons Den on BBC2 to seek £50,000 in exchange for a 5% share in their British based company Oatein.
Oatein was, in fact, the second brand we ever listed on Posted Protein, which meant we couldn't help but be glued to the TV last Sunday and root for the two northern chaps! 📺
After receiving three offers from the Dragons, the founders chose to accept Peter Jones in his offer, securing a £50,000 investment in exchange for 20% equity in their business.
Having sold more than 2.5 million products since launching in 2015, with distribution in over 50 countries already, we cannot wait to see where the team go next with the support of a Dragon behind them!
From all of us at Posted Protein – an enormous congratulations, guys! 🎉
Anyone wishing to try Oatein's range can find their complete collection right here on our website.
P.S. If you missed the episode & want to catch up, you can find it on BBC iPlayer right now. Be sure to let us know your thoughts & congratulate the pair! 👏
Barebells, the Swedish manufacturer of some of the greatest protein bars & milkshakes we've ever tried, is at it again!
